I’m post 9/11 med retired after Iraq combat deployment injuries and am very recently a single dad of two awesome girls Madeline 7 and Lillian 5, through separation. I’m at a point where I can’t work anymore, and I have filed for SSI and an increase in my VA rating and I also applied for a food card, SNAP. I’m at a point where there is nothing I can do, losing my income from my job was difficult but I do get 80% now but now its just me, my spouse just left to California, and i need a hand up is all. I am completely tapped, negative actually and very little food for my Maddie and Lily.
