Rent Help

Robert D:

I was let go from my job in July because I had a breakdown. I was out of work for two months and I just started a new job. I won’t get my first check until next week. I was relying on my October VA payment to get rent paid and coast by until I start getting paychecks. I only received half of my disability which isn’t enough to cover the rent. I called the VA and they said I was overpaid last year when I went to school and debt management garnished my check. They sent me a letter but to an old address so I didn’t even know this was coming. There are no more debts to be repaid after this. I know if I can just get some help with this months rent I will be good going forward. Between my job and my disability and with me starting counseling again I know my family will be ok if I can just get past this month.
