I’m currently going to school and I’m working self employment to be flexible to attend school. I have a 7 year old as well. I work for 4 different jobs. Postmates, Shipt, Uber and Instacart. I just started these jobs a couple weeks ago so I don’t have a full months income from them. Starting on the 1st I should have an estimate of what can be made for December. I probably wont really know until the end of December and I’ve worked a full month. I used all of my GIBill for school. I also get welfare and child support plus financial aid is how I’ve been paying rent. With financial aid the disbursements are not a set amount and I don’t get it every month. I’m asking for assistance with my utility bill which got high in the Summer because California wildfires and heat.The bill is $424. I get food stamps every month but they usually don’t last all month. I usually have to spend 50-$60 for more food. This month I received my food stamps 7 days early so I’m trying to stretch the food until the 10th when I get them again. There were some things wrong with the renewal of my welfare case and they gave me the stamps earlier. I only have enough food for a couple days. I’m also going to be short about $300 on rent. I need food but rent needs to be paid too. Altogether $424 utilities, $300 rent, about $60 for food to cover us until the 10th.
