July 27th I woke up and realized that $800 was missing out of my debit card. I checked my bank statement and had various charges to some American companies and companies from France Algeria; somehow my information was sold so I’m assuming on the dark web. I have proof and screenshots of all the transactions as they all happened in 3 minutes. I use a prepaid card to receive my government benefits and they will not start a claim until all transactions have posted and are not pending. Luckily before this happened I did manage to take out enough money to pay smaller bills but not enough for rent food and electricity. My rent should be covered because tomorrow I’m going to pawn my TV Xbox and laptop.
