I worked for Mathesion Tri Gas from June 2018 to July 2019. I recently got hired with L3 Harris in Rockwall, TX and was scheduled to begin July 29th. I put in my 2 weeks at my previous job to be able to accommodate that start date, then my date was pushed back a week to August 5, 2019 due to background check waiting. This caused my final check from Mathesion to be $65.00. That was fine until I started L3, and was informed of the big L3/Harris merger and the payday switch that are doing beginning this week. If everything would have worked out how it was supposed to I would have had a short paycheck from Mathesion then a half paycheck from L3 and we would have just rearranged bills. However, that is not the case with the payday schedule revamp. So, I will not receive my first paycheck with L3 Harris until August 23rd. This puts my family without any income for over 4 weeks. We have gotten family help with paying our rent payment but between that and back to school for my 3 children we need help to push through these next 2 weeks.
